Searched around and couldn't find a thread dedicated to the discussion of one of best movie series, and lets not forget the awesome games (mainly the SNES games).

Actually I was looking for a place to add this link www.gizmodo.com.au/... I'd love to go and check out these locations one day and I'm pretty surprised that some of the "props" are still standing.

Anyway feel free to use this thread for anything Starwars related.

Actually - 3PO had a memory wipe, but R2 didn't (I'm fairly sure).

Yea I recently finished watching the whole saga again and thought of the same thing. Thought R2D2 might hump vadars leg or something when he saw him. So many holes

It's only a pothole because of the prequels. Blame Lucas... again. Although in terms of not recognising Leia as you're alluding to Ben, some have suggested that one of her force abilities is a mind defence thing. I think theirs a line that vaguely suggests it - but I can't think of it off the top of my head.

How convenient.

Yes it's only a plothole because of the prequels, but it's not like someone totally different made them. Lucas did have some involvement in the original trilogy, so he should have designed the prequels with the future events already in mind [Rage]

Can't wait to get my R2-D2 Xbox 360 next weekend!

Original trilogy is the way to go, going for all 6 you tend to lose interest after the first "new" movie.

Or look at it as getting the first two out of the way, and then it gets better from there.

To be honest, Revenge of the Sith is pretty damn good. Not as good as the original trilogy, but it's pretty bad ass.

I've watched RotS once. Literally only once, when it came out in the cinemas. Because all I remember is that the first 20 minutes or so are absolutely atrocious. Guess it's time I checked it out again, quite a few people seem to say it's pretty good :O

RotS is pretty good. Better than the other two.

A bit cliched, but the saber battle pretty cool.

That's no mean feat considering we knew what was going to happen for 30 years before it came out.

Exactly, we all knew the tale, but I still thought Lucas did a fantastic job of pulling it off.

Put aside your hate and revisit the movies - after so many years you can learn to accept them for who they are, and they aren't that bad to be honest, just not as good.

They look cool indeed but I don't like the idea of having to wear shades when I use it? Kinda gay.
But indeed, they are getting closer to producing "Actual Lightsabers" :D

I still like mine though! You can actually fight with it and it doesn't like blind people for life....
