haha on a V6 VR/VS there is virtually half a metre of space if u remove the cowling off the fan.

a couple of annoyances the past few days. first its pissing down every day here in sydney and my passenger side wiper blade decided to s*** itself. the top section of rubber came off but there is still some rubber on it so hopefully its not scratching the window. i will go and get a new pair tonight.

secondly i have a large parcel (150x50x20cm) that was delivered to my mums work and at home we have two commodores. a 95 VR and a 2010 clubsport and neither can fit this package. i find it so stupid that they still havent implemented a 60/40 rear folding seat in the commodores when my grandmas cruze can easily hold almost anything. so i have to go and borrow her car or wait for my dad to come back home cos he took the prado to the airport. [Rage] [Rage]

anyway thats my rage for the day :D

Oh yeah there's a crap load of space in the VR/VS engine bay, I've seen entire turbo kits mounted in that space.

My misses has been busting my chops about painting the brakes on the Beemer, if the weather is good I'll give them a coat of black paint to they look better than just that nasty rust look.

Also seems like the new water pump is doing its job, was pretty warm today and I was giving the car a bit of a workout the temps were perfect all day, pretty happy with that effort especially considering that these engines apparently get pretty warm.

just saw the new opel astra in the flesh, looks a lot smaller than i thought, though it was the 3 door one so that may have contributed, also looked horrible because the woman driving it chose the colour pink. like a light baby pink. awful!

it looks like a mazda at the front and a volkswagen at the back. if car makers sued like technology firms there would definitely be a lawsuit here

How rude does that car look ey? Just riding shot gun in one of those would make my day.

Well it is a nice day today (so far) and I would like to wash both cars but according to my weather widget it's going to rain later today and tomorrow. Might just wash my car then hide it in the garage all weekend :P

If it wasn't for AMG Mercedes would be one of the most boring car manufactures on the planet sitting right next Volvo :P

that car could easily do 100+ down that road and then veer off but i think it was probably slower or he would have gone over the top. its only across the laneway and up about 3m. not too much speed required

Had a massive cleaning session yesterday and got both cars pretty clean and bird crap free. Got some bug and tar remover to get some stubborn marks off my paint. Made an attempt to clean up some scratches of the beemer, got some off but there was a couple that will need some better cutting compound....or paint :P black cars show damage paint and body work much worse than any other colour.

I knew it was going to rain yesterday but washed them anyway because they were pretty dirty. Even when it's raining heaps I still wash them.

Hmmm so it's 1200kg. Guess thats pretty good, was hoping it would be a little lighter. That or WRX spec 195kw. 0-100 in 7 seconds isn't exactly very fast.

I doubt it's meant to be a successor to a WRX, maybe more-so to the Liberty or a Lexus IS F even.

Hopefully these are only the specs for the vanilla model and a sports model is in the cards too.

It's the 40 K school zones that piss me off to no end. FFS educate the children how to cross the road properly and stop nerfing everything.
Usually I just avoid the whole area instead of being forced to drive a 40 ****en kilometers an hour. I had my friend in the car the other day and said check this out and then slowed down to 40 K's "that's what 40 KPH feels like" ...feels like you are just about to park your car it's that slow. Anyway that stupid law is here to stay I can't see it being removed in a hurry even though cars are now come with better brakes, ABS and pedestrian impact safety features.

I have one pet hate that I can not stand, recently it has moved up on my s*** list thanks to my fat neighbors, and that is slack people that pull up out the front of someones house and beep the horn. It is so dam rude and lazy to do that. One the person you are picking up should know what time you are pulling up and should keep an eye out for you, 2 is the driver that much of a lazy blob that they can't get out of their car and walk a couple of meters to ring the door bell, 3 every single person on this planet has a mobile, just call them instead of disturbing everyone around you. Even worse is the impatient lazy moron that will keep beeping the horn. [Rage]
