I'd say it was fake, but isn't that Jeri Ryan acting as Sonya? I'm glad they have unfamiliar faces playing all the other characters, means they might have actually casted martial artists for the movie this time.

EDIT:
I like how kotaku people are flaming it, and people at comingsoon.net are like WOW AWESOME!

Apparently it is a test trailer to see responses on how an R rated Mortal Kombat reboot will go :(

EDIT: Ok it doesn't say what nationality he is, be he definetly looks Chinese, or possibly just the actor.
The text at the bottom of the screen looks arabic or even thai. Malaysian or Thai perhaps?

Yeah Noob Saibot would be awesome. You have to wonder how they'd pull off the movie as a whole in this 'real world' style though. Sektor or Cyrax would own everybody. Just shoot a missile at them and game over.
