Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is a real-time strategy game developed by Relic Entertainment. It's based on the popular table-top wargame.
Gameplay is mainly focused on capturing and holding strategic locations on the map with infantry units, and then constructing additional units and buildings. Battles are won by either destroying the enemies headquarter structures or by holding a specified number of control points for a certain amount of time.
You can choose to take command over 4 different factions: Space Marines, Chaos Marines, Eldars, and Orks.
Three expansion packs have been released: Winter Assault, Dark Crusade and Soulstorm, all of which add new factions and maps.
