0x10c isn't fun according to Notch

Remember 0x10c, that crazy space game that Makus "Notch" Persson is working on? Well turns out the Minecraft creator isn't exactly happy with the state of the game as it is now, and he may scrap it simply because it's not fun.

I might possibly start over, because it feels like… it’s not fun. The stuff you’re actually doing. If it’s not fun to walk around the spaceship then the game isn’t fun. So I need to figure that out and try to, not necessarily gamify, but add more instant gratification."

He also mentioned that Mojang is looking at charging something around five Euros ($6.20 AUD) a month for access to the always-on multiverse. He is also aiming for a Minecraft-style alpha release in early 2013, which is certain to go insane.

Why? It takes a lot of work to make a game fun, and it's better to admit it now than admit it when it's out for download. It can still be reworked. Quake began as a fantasy RPG, for example.

You mean... Notch? I'm pretty sure not only does he OWN Mojang and can do whatever the **** he wants with it, but that he was writing the game on his own.
