Origin keeps going from strength to strength, with EA announcing that is currently has 21 million users, which includes a total of 9 million mobile members. That's a huge increase from 11 million, which his what the publishing giant was claiming back in May of this year.
Despite the initial outcry, Origin has managed to server 12 million downloads and now houses 50 publishing partners alongside their EA lineup, and the company has just added 57 independent developers to their ranks. It may not be up to the standard of Valve's Steam service, but things are certainly heating up.
