While Apple has been touting Thunderbolt for a while now, ASUS and MSI are the first PC motherboards to support the new technology.
The ASUS P8Z77-V Premium and the P8Z77-V Pro / Thunderbolt are the first Intel-certified boards to use the connection. Enthusiasts can hook up multiple storage drives or any Thunderbolt-friendly display, and it can be daisy-chained to connect up to six different devices.
MSI's Z77a-GF80 has the same features, however they claim you can connect to a graphics card if you are so inclined.
