Borderlands 2 release date revealed

September 21st, 2012 will live on in infamy as the launch date for Borderlands 2. Gearbox made the announcement overnight, and also revealed details of the "Premiere Club".

Those who pre-order will gain access to the Premiere Club, which awards them a sweet amount of in-game swag. There's the "Gearbox Gun Pack", a "Golden Key" to unlock something in the Golden Sanctuary Loot Chest, and the "Vault Hunter's Relic" up for grabs.

Given the amount of awesomeness that awaited gamers in the first release, we're fairly confident that Borderlands 2 is going to kick some serious arse.

Yeah, I'm definitely jumping on the pre-order wagon for this one. The first game was just so amazing, so I'm willing to throw down my hard earned cash!
