THQ has announced pre-order bonuses for Darksiders II, but Australian PS3 owners will need to make do with a substitute.
Xbox 360 and PC pre-orders placed on shopTHQ Australia will include a Season Pass that entitles consumers to the second and third batches of downloadable content. They will also benefit from a bump to the Limited Edition version of the game, which comes with the first DLC, Argul’s Tomb.
To round it out, Aussie pre-orders will also include a code to redeem an exclusive Maker’s Armor and Scythe set. Aside from looking cool, it comes with a nice little stat boost.
Australian PS3 owners, meanwhile, will not be able to access the Season Pass. Instead, THQ is offering a free copy of Saints Row 2 along with the Limited Edition.
While we're giving things away, PC owners will be treated to a bonus copy of Metro 2033 and those who get in fast may secure a life-sized replica Death Mask and display stand.
Darksiders II will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this August. A Wii U version will appear at a later date (hint: the console needs to be released first).
