- 2.18 million copies of Human Revolution sold
- Only 800,000 in the US
- Deus Ex leads Square Enix's six month report
Deus Ex: Human Revolution sold well. It should have; fans and critics gave it more than positive reviews, (check it out here) and a successful DLC was released just last month.
Square Enix has confirmed that over 2.18 million copies of their RPG hybrid were shipped in US and Europe, which certainly gives some fuel to a sequel.
Interesting however was the fact that 1.38 million of those copies were sold to the European audience, with the US only snapping up 800,000. It seems that the US were wary of the reboot, while Europeans simply jumped into the game.
Human Revolution was released in Japan on October 20th, but sales figures are yet to come in.
Deus Ex was the clear winner in Square's slaes figures for the last six months, with Dungeon Siege III shipping 820,000 copies, and Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary Collection which sold 350,000 in Japan.
