Diablo III finished in 7 hours

While you were stuck unable to play Diablo III last night, some hardcore Koreans were busy finishing the game.

Joystiq first reported that the game had been finished in 12 hours and 29 minutes with a level 32 Barbarian on Normal difficulty.

That was quickly surpassed, however, as a group of Korean players did it on Normal in seven hours; a feat that was soon matched by players in China.

Hahaha. I don't understand speed-runs or even just trying to play a game as fast as you can (if it's the first time playing, I mean). Just enjoy the experience while it's new and fresh as long as you can.

So they're not allowed to enjoy trying to play it really fast?

Granted on playthrough one you cannot soak in much detail but it's powerlevel points in your direction.

Of course they can. I just said I personally don't understand the joy in playing "really fast". I guess if you're one of those professional tournament players or someone who plays most games for speed-running and record-breaking alone, it makes sense.

I'm more of a slow-poke kind of gamer. I like to take in the detail; the characters, the story, the lore and, in a game like Diablo or anything RPG-esque, the depth of the customisation and battle systems.

Sounds like something I'd do. :P

People always tell me that I 'rush' games and should slowdown and enjoy the game, but in hindsight I just am playing something I like alot, and the gameplay time seems to hit low, despite me doing a majority of side-quests in-game.
