300,000 concurrent players logged into Diablo III's beta weekend - anyone would think the game was highly anticipated or something?
The news was tweeted by Blizzard community manager Micah Whipple, amongst updates on server availability.
Testers were reporting several login and server errors, which could have something to do with three quarters of the world's population logging in at once, along with complaints around the Skill UI and other issues.
The beta allowed players to level their characters to 13 and fighting the Skeleton King. Characters will be reset and the lands will be fresh for the official launch, which is coming up on May 15.
