EA could still win Worst Company in America Award

EA is still in the running to win The Consumerist's "Worst Company in America 2012," reports Joystiq.

The challenge takes 32 American companies that have disappointed in the past year and pits them against each other to find out which is the worst. They come from various industries and include the likes of EA, Sony, GameStop, Target and Walmart.

EA is up for its high prices, DLC debacles, and all-round low reputation in the US. Meanwhile, Sony have that whole PSN breach situation to contend with and their subsequent changes to the TOS.

EA has made it to the final eight, having already eliminated Sony and Best Buy, who are apparently slightly better than the worst companies in America.

GameStop beat Netflix as a significantly worse company, but lost in the second round to Walmart, who just made it over the line with 54% of the vote.
