In a video interview with Game Informer, Matt Firor has stated the main story arc of The Elder Scrolls Online will completely be a solo experience.
According to Firor, The last thing you want to do is have the final confrontation with Mehrunes Dagon as he's stomping across the Imperial City, and you see like 15 guys behind you waiting to kill him because they're on the same quest. As MMO online designers, the thing we wanted to make sure we hit the most was that feeling that you're awesome, you're the hero."
Whilst not a controversial move (World of Warcraft and Star Wars: The Old Republic feature many single-player instances), the gaming community are split towards the idea.
What are your thoughts on the inclusion of a solitary single-player storyline?
