Last week we reported on a new indie studio named The Fullbright Company, formed by former 2K employees who worked on BioShock 2, XCOM and BioShock Infinite. This week we bring you the first look at their debut title, Gone Home.
This story-driven first-person adventure takes place in "a modern, residential locale", where player will unravel a mystery by "investigating a deeply interactive gameworld".
The above trailer is definitely a work in progress, with co-founder Steve Gaynor telling PC Gamer to "brace yourself for some untextured walls and stuff."
According to Gaynor, Fullbright are taking major influences from System Shock, The Last Express and Amnesia: The Dark Decent. Throwing all those into the mix sounds like a damn fun time to us!
There's no ETA for the game as yet, but we'll be following this very closely over the development cycle.
