ZeniMax Media have submitted a trademark application for "Hearth Fire".
ZeniMax Media have been busy trademarking several terms related to Skyrim in the last few months. In April, the company filed for "Fus Ro Dah", the iconic dragon shout from Skyrim, and earlier this month they also filed an application for "Dragonborn", the title for the hero of the game.
This month has also seen the first teaser image of "Dawnguard", the title for the first batch of upcoming DLC for the popular fantasy epic. However, this most recent trademark application is still vague as to whether it is also related to Skyrim, another Bethesda game or something else entirely.
Those invested and knowledgeable in Tamriel's vast lore will know that Hearth Fire is the ninth of the twelve seasons in the Elder Scrolls universe, and that it is also the title of a Conjuration skill book- "2920, vol 09 – Hearth Fire" - which the player can use to level up that associated skill.
Bethesda has made no official announcement yet, but judging from the established links to Skyrim and the pattern of related trademarks, it's safe to assume it is also related to the game in some form.
