Krater comes to PC in June, Mac version in July

2012 must be year of the top-down RPG; Fatshark's post-apocalyptic Krater is launching on PC this June, with a Mac release following in July.

The game involves a military base hidden inside of a massive crater, featuring a robust crafting system, explorable world and permanent consequences. That means if you die, then you die, finito, finished!

If you're keen to jump into the game early, you can pre-order from the official site, and gain access to a pre-launch beta.

HUzzah, more permadeath! It needs to be a randomly generated world for permadeath to be anything other than a bother, though.

Yeah true this! But like, save games? Yeah you have one life but surely you can continue from your last save
