Max Payne 3 will not use GFWL

We know that Rockstar have revamped their Social Club service for the release of Max Payne 3. It will allow you to setup personal profiles, and form multiplayer crews that will also carry across to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V.

One thing truly sucked about Grand Theft Auto IV on PC, and that was the horrid Games For Windows Live requirements. We're happy to report that Rockstar has confirmed that GFWL will not be required for Max Payne 3.

Doesn't get much clearer than that! Max Payne 3 is arriving on PC June 1st.
