- Mechromancer class announced as post-launch DLC
- Free for those who pre-order the game
- Customisable costumes and gear for classes in-game
Gearbox let loose an interesting nugget of information regarding Borderlands 2 at PAX East over the Easter weekend; an entire new class named the Mechromancer will be coming in form of DLC post-launch.
The class will be offered for free to those who pre-order, but the rest of us will have to hand over some hard earned cash (or MS points) for the female human/machine hybrid. She also has a companion - a giant robot called D374-TP (Deathtrap).
We also learned that players will be able to customise their characters with custom gear and costumes, which will be earned when players complete missions and challenges.
They also announced a special edition of Borderlands 2 that comes with a plastic loot box with a Marcus Kincaid bobblehead, and we're hoping something similar will be landing on our shores.
