EA have announced the PC open-multiplayer beta for Medal of Honor will begin worldwide on October 4th.
The beta includes two game modes and two maps. Kunar Base (map) features the 'Sector Control' mode, where two teams fight to control sector points, quite similar to Call of Duty's 'Domination'. Shahikot Mountains (map) features the 'Combat Mission' mode, where players battle to complete objectives against the enemy. Both maps host up to 24 players, equating to a 12v12 game.
DICE has also made numerous improvements since the closed-beta in June, including changes to the weapon-pickup system and hit detection mechanics.
Medal of Honor will be available to Australians on October 14th.
