Rumor: Borderlands developer might be making DNF

According to anonymous sources Borderlands devloper Gearbox are going to finish Duke Nukem Forever. Ever since the demise of 3D Realms the production of DNF has been in limbo as of 2009. Gearbox president Randy Pitchford has no comment on the rumor at the present time. One of the sources said that a playable demo of DNF would be out by the end of this year. Its going to be interesting considering that Take Two interactive still owns the publishing rights to the Duke Nukem franchise.

Seriously don't give a toss about this game but its good to hear it might still come out. Its a shame though, everyone who liked Duke Nukem will hate it. Its been too long, the rose tinted spec's will be in full effect.

I never liked Duke Nukem, even at the age I was when it was new, it seemed childish and stupid. And I WAS a child then.
the games were never meant to be taken seriously.
The first Duke Nukem though only had a cool artistic style rather than chauvinistic character traits, they were started to be born in duke 2 and then came to full blossom in duke 3d.

Every duke game since 3d though have been incredibly average at best.

I would love to see this come out, but I am in full acceptance if it never does (probably be better to stay that way)
Anyone noticed the acronym for Duke Nukem Forever is DNF: Did Not Finish!
