We knew that CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 2 was popular, but we never expected it to shift 1.7 million copies across the PC and Xbox 360 platforms.
The developers are hoping for that number to grow significantly with announcements that the Xbox 360 version will be debuting in Japan on August 23, and a Mac version is due later this year. Not bad for a fairly new RPG series.
