Free-to-play shooter Tribes: Ascend has just arrived on Steam, increasing their exposure to 40 million Steam gamers overnight. The game will still be 100% free, but Steam is offering a 50% discount on the Starter Pack, which includes a lifetime 50% XP boost, 2 special classes, 12 weapon unlocks, 4 perk unlocks and 800 Tribes Gold. Not a bad pack for $10.
