Epic have finally given gamers their first look at the long-awaited Unreal Engine 4. The tech demo centres around a huge, armoured, flaming skeleton, with Epic fitting everything they possibly could into the two-and-a-half minute long demo. Flames, lava, crumbling structures, mountains, and even snow were featured, and visuals are among the crispest gamers have ever seen.
Not surprisingly, Epic President Mike Capps stated that the company is currently developing a "couple" of next-gen games, and has a PC exclusive also in the works.
Gamers will be further intrigued to know that the demo was apparently only running on a personal computer with a single graphics card - could UE4 possess the potential to produce even better graphics and technical prowess than what we saw in the demo?
What are your thoughts on Epic's next-gen engine?
