Shinji Mikami, the godfather of the survival horror genre is ready to unleash hell on the gaming world once again, with Bethesda announcing they are publishing his new game Zwei.
Other than being the German word for the number two, Zwei will be the first game from Tango Softworks, the studio Mikami formed a couple of years ago. The game will be a survival horror, which shouldn't be a surprise from the guy behind such popular games such as God Hand, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 4, Killer 7 and several others.
I’ve found my focus and once again I’m striving for pure survival horror. I am being very hands-on in the development of this game to ensure that the quality is there. Rest assured.” - Shinji Mikami, Tango Softworks
Nothing else was revealed around the mysterious project, but we'd like to imagine there is going to be a zombie outbreak in Germany and we're there to clean it up. Hopefully we won't see a return of Nazi zombies though.
