If you're looking to express a little road rage while on the go, then you'll be please to know that the iOS version of Carmageddon is launching next week. Stainless Games have submitted the game to the App Store, and assuming Apple give it the go ahead, those with iPhones and iPads can maim pedestrians until their heart's content.
Updates to the classic game include a visual facelift, flexible controls with adjustable screen positions and tilt controls along with the ability to share videos via YouTube and Facebook. Stainless has also tweaked the opening levels to make them a little more accessible for newcomers, however there are a range of difficulties to keep hardcore gamers in check.
There's no multiplayer however which is shame. This has all come to fruition thanks to the successful Kickstarter campaign for Carmageddon Reincarnation. As promised the game will be free for the first 24 hours on the App store before rising to $1.99.
