DayZ, the mod that took the world by storm earlier this year, could be heading towards a standalone release this November.
Speaking to VG247, creator Dean "Rocket" Hall explained his problems with DayZ as it stands right now, and what steps he needs to take in order to release it as a standalone product.
“I think the most important thing is we deal with hacking, bugs, duping, new content, tidying up some of the features and expanding them a bit. I think if we can get that base — by the end of November or December — then that means January and February will be really happy, fun times.”
Seems like a resurgence of DayZ popularity is surely on the horizon.
