Dead Island Riptide tugs at the heartstrings

Mobile users can tug at their heartstrings here.

Deep Silver have just released a CGI trailer for Dead Island Riptide and like that very first trailer for Dead Island, it definitely tugs at the heartstrings. Don't expect the game to contain anything closely resembling emotional depth however, Deep Silver keep those moments exclusively for trailers.

The headline is discriminatory towards people without a heart.

Can't get excited about this. The game didn't quite live up to the trailer.

Still a solid game nonetheless. But not overly excited for this.

I feel sorry for the cinematic team at Deep Silver. They have talent more deserving of a AAA dev team. I don't really consider Deep Silver to be that yet.

The game was HEAPS of fun with friends, so as long as my mates are picking it up I'll be dragged into it.

Haven't touched it since we smashed through the campaign via the livestream however.
