Doom 3: BFG Edition gets its launch trailer today, encouraging us to revisit Hell in a remastered version of Doom 3, complete with enhanced visuals, optimized in 3D, improved rending for lighting, trophies and achievements, and a new check point save system.

Doom 3: BFG Edition is scheduled for release in Europe in the 19th of October, and is already out in Australia and the U.S. What are you waiting for? Blast some demons!

It's a weapon within the game. It's been in since the very first Doom, standing for Big F***ing Gun, though Doom 3's storyline actually gave it a proper military name while also making a character give an ode to the old joke one.
