Facebook are slowly beginning to phase out questions.
The social-networking company have planned to remove it from users, but also plan to keep it for Pages and Groups. This is beneficial because it means users can still take part in polls.
A Facebook representative has said they are getting rid of the feature in order to "focus more on other things". He did not say or mention what these other things were, but it is safe to say that one will probably be the search system.
'Questions' was launched a few years ago, in order for users to question something, and have their question answered through their friends and the wider community. The service did not really take off, though. Of course, some pages have used it, and it has worked well. But Facebook are moving to better features.
At the moment, Facebook have their own team, who are in the process of developing a new search program. Facebook have been very quiet about all this action, but we can eventually expect a new search program for Facebook.
