Today marks the day
Square Enix re-releases the legendary
'Final Fantasy VII' on the PC format in
digital download format.
The unaltered game is available for purchase exclusively at the
SQUARE ENIX Online Store for a modest US$11.99 [or 12 GIL in the Final Fantasy world]. What you'll get for a meagre cost is a classic Japanese RPG with an epic unforgettable story. Additionally, the game will run on modern PC processing power, 36 achievements to discover, ability for
Cloud Saves and a bonus 'Character Booster' to help improve your character at times of need.
If you're keen, you could also enhance the game further by incorporating
mods made available . Some modifications are capable of visually enhancing the resolutions to full high definition level, and perhaps after some time new mods can be conjured up by fans and enthusiasts.

UPDATE:
It is with sincere apology that the game is not available for purchase at this stage. While it was live for a few hours, Square Enix has pulled it off their online store at their own discretion. Hopefully we can be enlightened with a full launch very soon.
