Are you a Mac user playing Guild Wars 2 via Bootcamp? Not any longer my friends; ArenaNet just announced that they have released an official OS X client for their successful MMO.
Currently in beta phase, users can login to their account page and download the client to enjoy the game in their native OS.
For those wanting to copy their files across from their Bootcamp partition:
1: Download and install the client.
2: Let the client update until you see the login button.
3: Close the client and navigate to your Bootcamp Guild Wars 2 Folder.
4: Copy gw2.dat file (should be about 18GB)
5: Navigate to the Guild Wars 2 shortcut in your Applications folder on your Macintosh HD. Right click and show package contents.
6: Paste GW2.dat inside GW2 > Contents > Resources > Transgaming > C_drive > GW2 - choosing to override the old file.
There you have it - fully functional Guild Wars 2 inside OS X. Let us know how it runs in the comments below. It's a little sluggish on my system when using an external monitor, but runs a treat when using the regular laptop screen.
