
Apple has been on a hot streak with the release of the iPad and the up and coming iPhone4, pretty much all press attention has been pointing in a positive direction but once a product becomes popular it also becomes a target for hackers. Both Apple and communications giant AT&T are a looking a little embarrassed after a hacker group called Goatse Security gained access to the AT&T's website and tricked it into sending back iPad client information. A total of 114,000 email addresses of iPad 3G owners were accessed, these email addresses are associated with SIM identifiers of the iPad 3G model. Now given the current popularity of the iPad naturally there's going to be a few big names on that list one of them being the mayor of New York. I guess things could have been worse if the said information was something like credit card details...
