A job posting for Lost Planet 3 shows Spark Unlimited is working on a new console "Third Person Action/Slasher" which is "based on an established console franchise." The game is Unreal Engine-based and will feature some sort of multiplayer component.
Under the speculation that this could be a reboot of
Onimusha, Capcom declared to have no knowing whatsoever of the game being developed. The possibility of it being a reboot of this series is thus ruled out.
In another listing, we learn that Spark Unlimited is equally working on a "3rd Person Episodic RPG title for current and next gen IOS platforms". Furthermore, it describes their project to contain "single player and multiplayer turn based RPG gameplay in a widely accessible format" and "in-app purchases".
Right now it is difficult to say what the horror slash and RPG title will be like. For the first project mentioned, Kotaku argues only the rumors of a Crystal Dynamics-developed Legacy of Kain reboot makes a bit of sense.
