MMGN today launches MyWiiU.com.au a brand new Australian gaming site dedicated to the Wii U and its local community.
The new site returns to the origins of the MyMedia Network, formerly a network of separate "My" branded gaming sites between 2005 and the MMGN merger in 2011.
MyWiiU is fully integrated with MMGN, which remains the central hub of the network, but has presented an opportunity for us to remodel the site and develop new technology, which will continue to evolve over the coming weeks.
Our content, comments, forum posts, game profiles and site layout have been totally rebuilt for MyWiiU. In what's set to be a popular move, we have also redesigned our video player, which is now fully compatible with iOS devices.
MyWiiU requires a one-time log-in with your MMGN account (do not make a new account). All data and post counts, including your level and kudos, are retained.
Content published through MyWiiU will appear on the homepage of MMGN, as it does currently with each of our channels. The only change is that instead of taking you to WiiU.MMGN, Wii U content will bring you to MyWiiU.com.au -- the newest addition to MMGN.
Play around and explore the new site. It's still early days, and some features -- including the status and recent comments box -- will be rolled out in future releases. If you find any horrifying glitches, please report them here.
