No custom teams in Rugby League Live 2 Career Mode

Rugby League Live 2 publisher Tru Blu Entertainment has apologised for misleading gamers to believe custom teams can be used in Career Mode. They cannot.

The PR mishap began when a (presumably outsourced) presenter at a hands-on event suggested that custom teams could be used in Career Mode when responding to an attendee's question.

Tru Blu's managing director, Sebastian Giompaolo, has apologised for the misunderstanding, and admitted that it's a feature that should have been included in the final game.

"We have a few upset fans over the Custom Team post and rightly so," Mr Giompaolo wrote on Facebook.

"An error was made by not including the feature and a second error was made by saying it had a feature which doesn't exist," he said. "I am not going to make a third error and mislead you into buying a product which you believe has certain features and in reality it doesn't."

In a positive light, the fact that it's currently touring the country for consumer previews and too late for developer Big Ant to add custom teams to Career Mode suggests a release date isn't too far away.

I don't see this being that big of an issue.
As longs as its in multiplayer
I think this is actually a good thing!
What's the point of playing career mode if you already have the perfect team? Wouldn't it be better to start with an official team and endeavor to sign the players to wished to edit into the game?
This shouldn't be an issue at all :)
As long as we're able to sign and release players I'm happy!
