The game is receiving a lot of praise and this is made more remarkable that the team behind Routine consists of three people. The game brings a few things to the table, such as a 'full body awareness" which features no HUD or targeting system. The game also features a 'permanent death' system that will lead to multiple endings. It plans to be non-linear, allowing you to explore to your hearts content! (At least until your heart stops pumping from your untimely permanent death...) Also it plans to take advantage of the Oculus Rift VR system at launch.
Their incredible detailed graphics and unique style coupled with immersive game-play harking back to the Tony Scott's mantra from Aliens, "In space no one can hear you scream".
The game places players on an abandoned moon base, searching for clues as to the whereabouts of the crew all while avoiding things that will kill you.
Routine is set for release in early 2013 for PC and MAC. Check out Routine‘s page on
Steam Greenlight.
