Skyrim developer has finally moved on to its next project

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's development team has finally moved on from the project it has dedicated every working minute to for the past seven years.

In a Bethesda Game Studios blog post, a spokesperson bid farewell:

"Skyrim has been a labor of love for us since we started designing it in 2006. We never imagined it would become the phenomenon it has. And that is because of you, the fans. It was all of you who made it a success. We can’t thank you enough for embracing the game, spreading the word, and making it your own," said the blog.

"Even though we’re moving on, we’ll still have minor updates to Skyrim as needed. We’ve invested so much of ourselves into Skyrim and will never truly say goodbye to it.

"Thank you again for all your support. We hope you stay engaged in the gaming community here and elsewhere. Keep spreading the word. Games are the world’s best entertainment because they can do what other forms cannot – fill you with the wonder of exploration and the pride of accomplishment. We look forward to sharing our next adventure with you."

Onward and upward, Skyrim team!

Skyrim 1-2: The Reckoningism

Calling it.
If Fallout 4 is their next title please bring it to nextgen. Skyrim really pushed current gen and brought the PS3 to its knees.
Let's take advantage of that extra grunt and give Sony gamers a proper Bethesda experience on PS4.

Well if they're only just starting on it I'd expect that it would be next gen? Release in 2015? (only 1 3/4 years away).
