Remember those strange pictures we reported on a few weeks ago? You know, the ones where Steam wanted to sell accounting software? Well Valve has officially announced that from September 5, you'll be able to purchase a variety of software ranging "from creativity to productivity" alongside your games.
While now specific programs have been announced, we do know that they will take advantage of Steamworks features such as easy installation, automatic updating and file storage via the Steam Cloud.
