L.A. Noire developer Team Bondi has revealed its next project, Whore of the Orient, for PC and next generation consoles.
It will be set in 1936 Shanghai, the Sydney-based developer revealed today.
A description on its website, since taken down, said the setting is "the most corrupt and decadent city on the planet, where anything can be had or done for the right price," and the “plaything of Western powers who greedily exploit the Chinese masses" and a "boiling pot of Chinese nationalism, with the Kuomintang ruthlessly trying to suppress Communism and the labour movement."
After running into financial troubles, Team Bondi and its next project were acquired by multimedia firm KMM Interactive Productions. Warner Bros. is believed to be publishing, as their logo was included on the landing page which has since been changed.
