EA Sports and Tiger Woods will end their video game partnership after 15 years of producing the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR series of video games.

"EA SPORTS and Tiger Woods have also made a mutual decision to end our partnership, which includes Tiger's named PGA TOUR golf game," EA said on its blog. "We’ve always been big fans of Tiger and we wish him continued success in all his future endeavours."

The company says it intends to keep the PGA TOUR series going, and released a few next-gen screenshots to accompany the announcement.

For a moment of thought golf games were going to be in the rough glad they've committed to continue making them.
