On Disney's side people do not even question the essence of stories in video games. In this trailer, Junction Point Studios talk about the power of storytelling in their newest title 'Epic Mickey 2'. For this they invited non other than comic book writer and editor Marv Wolfman, a renown veteran for his work at Marvel, DC comics and Disney.
Despite the fact that Epic Mickey 2 would be a perfect fit on the WiiU, the developers have announced a while back that it wouldn't be released for Nintendo's upcoming console.
“We’ve certainly thought about it. It’s a really interesting piece of hardware. Unfortunately, we were already too far into development by the time it was announced. So there’s just no way we could get it out by the time Wii U launches. I mean, who knows what’s going to happen in the future? But for right now, there are no plans. There is all sorts of fun stuff we could do with that controller, though.”
Epic Mickey 2: The power of two is scheduled for release this september for all the major consoles, including PC and MAC.
