Is This Truly The "World's Hardest Game"?

A review of the online game, "The World's Hardest Game", 7.5/10

Who would have thought that such simple gameplay could be so entertaining and absolutely addictive? The creators of this game did!

The World's Hardest Game consists of very simple gameplay. It involves trying to move a red square to a green shaded area, without touching any blue circles, which will take you back to the original starting point. The only exception to this is if you get a checkpoint, which is just another green area in a level.

You can see the simple gameplay in the image at the top of this page. The simplicity is what makes the game so difficult. In most of the levels, there is one technique that is easier over the rest. To find that technique, a lot of trial and error is involved.

The graphics are excellent, and it is not a particularly hardcore game. The only real problem that I find is that sometimes it is too hard. Exact timing is required and you don't get a second chance. But it is quite funny when you are watching someone who is so close to finishing a level and they die.

This game is an indie game, meaning it is not invented by a large corporation. This game has made money through advertising and has become very popular over the years.

I myself have not finished the game, and I've been trying to for over three years. That is how difficult it is.
