"Slender: The Eight Pages" Review

I have never seen such good display of psychological horror.

During my time on MMGN, I was surprised to see that there was no review for "Slender: The Eight Pages", so I decided to write one myself.

"Slender: The Eight Pages" previously known as just "Slender", was a psychological horror game, based around the myth and legend of an entity entitled "The Slenderman".

Slender: The Eight Pages incorporates a wide variety of techniques to make it the most horrifying game you will most likely play. The gameplay is simple.

You simply walk around trying to collect eight pages, which are hidden in various places around the map. These places include vehicles, a building, a giant tree, rocks, brick walls, a stone pillar, a tunnel, cut down trees, and fuel tanks. Each of the pages has either a disturbing image, or disturbing text, which is associated with the Slenderman.

The Slenderman is a mythological creature with various defining characteristics. The Slenderman is portrayed in a variety of ways. The Slenderman appears as a tall man (6-12 feet) in a black suit. He has no face, or at least no defining facial features. The Slenderman also has a set of tentacles which he can choose to let out or not. Because of it's inexact nature, no one really knows what it is.

I have watched a video where a person shares his own views on "The Slenderman". He says that the Slenderman is a relative of the octopus. When a human nears the Slenderman, it releases a chemical that gives you "Slender-sickness".

Slender-sickness is an illness which his acquired after the Slenderman has been after you for a large period of time. It is represented by nausea, fever and extreme exhaustion.

Slender is almost definitely the scariest game you will ever play. The amount of work that went into the overall creation of "Slender: The Eight Pages" is outstanding and must be acknowledged by every single player of the game.

Slender really does deserve a 9.5/10
